Handcrafted metallic Greek chess pieces inspired by the Greco-Roman period.

The pieces are hand-cast in solid zinc and then brass and nickel plated. Chess pieces are then lacquered to keep the lustrous finish from ever tarnishing.

King: Poseidon, god of the seas, bearing his trident.
Queen: Aprodite of Milos.
Bishop: Ares, god of war
Knight: Horse statue form acropolis (450BC)
Rook: Ionian order column, appeared in many ancient temples.
Pawn: Naxian Sphinx of Apollo in Delphi temple (560BC)

The set includes 32 pawns (silver and gold color).
