Handcrafted metal Greek chess set. The set includes a box containing one chess board and 32 pawns (silver and gold color) .

The chess pieces are hand-cast in solid zinc and then brass and nickel plated. They represent the following characters:

King: Poseidon, god of the seas, bearing his trident.
Queen: Athena, goddess of wisdom.
Bishop: Alexander the Great
Knight: Bucephalus, horse of Alexander the Great.
Rook: Ionian order column, appeared in many ancient temples.
Pawn: Discus thrower, copy of the Discovolus of Myron.
